The Cultivate: A Day in the South day trip will be visiting really interesting places, gardens and farms in the Allora, Nobby, Pittsworth and Cambooya areas (most are not usually open to the public). Come along, bring your friends and enjoy a great day with us exploring the roads less travelled! Includes a home-baked morning tea and a scrumptious lunch in a great location.

The Cultivate: A Day in the South day trip will be visiting some great places in the Allora, Nobby, Pittsworth and Cambooya areas and we would love you to join us for the day.

Saturday 11 November 2017 – 8.30am to 5.30pm

A feature of the day will be a visit to Clint Kenny’s Rivoli Farm & Garden at Deuchar, near Allora.

 

Rivoli Garden featured in the first episode of Dream Gardens, the ABC TV Australian series aired in April this year. Rivoli Garden has been transformed from a rock-hard paddock into an ambitious and extensive garden design and kitchen garden so that Clint & his family can live out their ‘grow it, eat it, live it’ dream. Clint will be there on the day to explain his design techniques.

We’ll be visiting other interesting places, learning about some great food producers, seeing some great places, enjoying morning tea and lunch at special locations and travelling on country roads. If you have been on a previous Cultivate: Day in the South trip you will be seeing all new places that we haven’t visited before.

We only take a small group so please register as soon as possible so you don’t miss out. The trip We will be leaving from Highfields and the Visitors Information Centre, James Street, Toowoomba and further information regarding departure times and other details will be emailed to you after booking.
