Terms and Conditions

  • All prices are inclusive of GST
  • Program: Activate – Inspiration + Experiences reserves the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure that a program is of equivalent standard.
  • Behaviour: Activate – Inspiration + Experiences reserves the right to prohibit entry of any person to an Activate – Inspiration + Experiences event, or eject any person from an Activate – Inspiration + Experiences event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by Activate – Inspiration + Experiences staff and/or its agents and others working under its authority.
  • Canvassing by delegates is strictly prohibited at Activate – Inspiration + Experiences events and forums. Promotional materials may not be distributed at the event/forum except by event sponsors, who have approval from Activate – Inspiration + Experiences . Delegates violating this policy will be asked to leave the event.
  • Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be received in writing (email to info@activateevents.net.au) . A $50 administration fee will apply for all paid event cancellations made before the registration closing date unless stated otherwise in the specific event terms and conditions. No refunds will be given after the registration closing date.
  • Privacy notice: Activate – Inspiration + Experiences is concerned with the protection of your privacy. We support the privacy principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), as amended. Activate – Inspiration + Experiences collects and stores your personal information for the purposes of providing event services and awareness programs. Here is how your data may be used: Communication from Activate – Inspiration + Experiences: Activate – Inspiration + Experiences may use your details to promote products and services in the form of email communications and/or other types of communication. Email info@activateevents.net.au if you would prefer not to receive communications from Activate – Inspiration + Experiences.
  • For the purposes of the event: Your details will be provided to parties directly related to the conference including the conference registration manager, venues and accommodation providers for the purpose of room bookings, catering needs and other event options.
  • Communication from 3rd parties: Event sponsors and exhibitors may be provided with delegate details following the event. There is an ‘opt out’ option on the registration form should you not wish for your details to be shared with the event sponsors and exhibitors. Alternatively contact info@activateevents.net.au to opt out.
  • Image Release: In registering for Activate – Inspiration + Experiences events and conferences, delegates grant permission to Activate – Inspiration + Experiences, its agents and others working under its authority, to take and to have full and free use of video/photographs containing their image/likeness. It is understood these images may be used for promotional, news, on-line/multimedia, research and/or educational purposes by and for Activate – Inspiration + Experiences. Delegates agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment from Activate – Inspiration + Experiences in respect of their image/likeness or its use. Delegates release, discharge, and hold harmless, Activate – Inspiration + Experiences and its agents from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that they may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or video. Should a delegate not agree to the above image release, they must advise Activate – Inspiration + Experiences by emailing – Consent Release
  • Registration and Payment: Payment in full is required by the event date in order to attend.
  • Substitutions: Should a registrant be unable to attend, they may send one substitute in their place. Activate – Inspiration + Experiences must be notified of all substitutions 24 hours prior to the event.
  • Invoices: Invoices must be paid within 7 days or by the registration closing date (whichever comes first) in order to guarantee the booking. If payment is not made prior to the registration closing date and the event reaches capacity, your place is not guaranteed and may be offered to those on the waiting list.
