If you want to see some of the regions award-winning large gardens and a little of the country surrounding Toowoomba in one day, then this is the tour for you!
Guided by renowned local horticulturist, Brian Sams and tour specialist, Wendy Allen, you will visit some of the hidden gems of the Carnival of Flowers that are often missed by visitors– the beautiful large country gardens. We make sure we visit the champion and award winning country gardens – you will be in for a treat.
This tour will take you on the roads less traveled through our rural countryside and give you the chance to discover the secrets of success from the garden owners themselves at each garden. Brian will also be on hand to identify plants and to answer any gardening questions.
Enjoy a lovely morning tea in a local garden as well as a delicious lunch in a unique country spot.
If you are keen to see some of the countryside and a number of great gardens please book early to reserve your place as this is a small group tour and numbers are limited.
When: Day tours on each day – Saturday 21 September, Sunday 22 September, Monday 23 September and Tuesday 24 September, Wednesday 25 September & Thursday 27 September
Time: 8.30am – 5.30pm
Pick up: Toowoomba Visitor Information Centre, James Street, Toowoomba
Cost: $135 per person – Includes bus trip, morning tea, lunch and access to all the gardens.
